By means of a decree of the 30th November, 2017, of the Rent Regulation Board, in the records of the Application in the names Carmelo Farrugia et vs Mary Cassar, Application Number 130/2017JD, the following publication was ordered for the purpose of effecting service on the respondent Mary Cassar in terms of Article 187(3) et seq of the Code of Organisation and Civil Procedure (Cap. 12)

By means of an application in the names Carmelo Farrugia (ID 588141M) and Josephine Farrugia (ID 5446M) vs Mary Cassar (ID 121759M) filed before the Rent Regulation Board on the 25th September, 2017, the applicant Carmelo Farrugia et requests with respect that:

They are the owners of the premises Carmen Flats, Flat 1, Triq il-Ġnien, Gżira. The premises are rented at €46.59 per month, payable every ninth (9) day of the month. The next payment is due on the 9th of October, 2017;

For the last years the respondent did not pay any rent and remained in default although notified several times to pay.


Thus, the applicants request with respect that this Honorable Board such that it finds that the respondent breached the conditions of the lease as she did not pay the rent, orders her to evict the premises Carmen Flats, No. 1, Triq il-Ġnien, Gżira and this within a stipulated time.

By decree given by the Civil Court, First Hall, on the 25th October, 2017, on the application of Bank Of Valletta plc (C 2833), Tuesday, 6th February, 2018, at eleven in the morning (11.00 a.m.) has been fixed for the Sale by Auction ordered, to be held on the First Floor of these Courts of Justice, Triq ir-Repubblika, Valletta, of the following property:
