Call for Expression of Interest for the Purchase Tale Quale of Animal By Products (ABPs)
 
The Ministry for Sustainable Development, the Environment and Climate Change notifies that:
 
 Expressions of interest will be received up to 10.00 a.m. on Friday, 8th August, 2014 from those willing to:  
 
(i) purchase tale quale all of the residual carcass parts (that may or may not be suitable for human consumption and/ or other different uses) from the different processes at the Public Abattoir (henceforth  Animal by-Products or ABPs); and/or
 
(ii) who may, but not necessarily, also be willing to make use, at a fee, of  a pre-identified Site within the Public Abattoir grounds for any operations that may be required in relation to the said ABP; and/or
 
(iii) who may also submit other proposals, related to the ABPs, that may include the use of other areas within the precincts of the Public Abattoir. Submissions will be received at the Procurement and Supplies Directorate, at No. 6, Triq  Ħal Qormi, Santa Venera.
