VAT DEPARTMENT

Vat Refunds to Non-Residents Concession

The Government of Malta, acting through the Commissioner for Revenue, is seeking an operator to administer a scheme to refund Value Added Tax (VAT) refunds to non-residents.

In this regard, Government is inviting bids from an economic operator or consortium of economic operators with relevant experience who are interested in entering into a Concession Agreement with Government to provide such services.

Interested parties are invited to contact the Commissioner for Revenue, using the contact details set out below, to receive the necessary instructions required to obtain the bid documentation relative to the Concession, to enable them to formulate their proposals.  A non-refundable collection fee of €50 is applicable.

Proposals will be received in the format specified in the bid document by not later than noon (Central European Time) Wednesday, 20th May, 2015.
