MALTA TOURISM AUTHORITY

Promotional Giveaway Items for the Malta Tourism Authority
 
The Malta Tourism Authority takes part in a number of overseas travel events and fairs in order to promote the Maltese Islands and all that they have to offer. The fairs which the MTA participates in take place in Europe as well as outside Europe and will generally be open to both the trade and the public.
 
The Malta Tourism Authority is hereby issuing a Request for Information to interested suppliers in order to send in proposals of Promotional Giveaways which they feel would be able to best promote the Maltese Islands at these fairs. The MTA would like to receive details and specifications of giveaway items which could be given to the general public, as well as details of corporate items which could be given to select members of the trade.
 
In relation to the above, the MTA insists that all items must meet the following criteria: 1) that the item must fit in a hand luggage, and 2) that the items do not contradict any airport security measures.
 
Please note that the MTA would like to receive all proposals by email and therefore shall not be accepting any catalogues. Visuals and details of specifications relating to all promotional items are to be sent to the MTA in electronic format.
 
Important to note that this is a request for information and no itemised prices or quotations of any sort are required at this stage.
 
The MTA notifies that at a later stage, samples may be requested so as to be able to analyse the product better and take informed decisions.
 
Interested parties are to note that this Request for Information will not lead to an award of a contract. The Malta Tourism Authority wishes to advise that following receipt of proposals, the Authority may issue a call for tenders for the supply of Promotional Giveaways.
