WasteServ will receive offers (excluding VAT) for the sale of these fractions ‘tale quale’ without warranty and shall contact prospective buyers to come to an agreement to collect the required materials in an agreed time-frame. All items shall be considered as separate lots. Offers are to be submitted by the completion of the detailed form available for download on the website: (www.wasteservmalta.com) and hardcopies may be obtained from SAWTP offices during office hours. This procedure is intended to be repeated every month.
Local bidders interested in taking part in such bids must provide relevant permits from the local authority (MEPA) for the handling of the specific waste streams. Foreign agencies which are interested in purchasing any of the items in the list, must provide relevant authorisations from their country’s Competent Authorities and from the local Authority (MEPA) for the handling of the specific waste streams. In any case, transport of waste must be carried out by a registered waste carrier and export of waste must be done according to the Trans Frontier Shipment of Waste Regulations.
 
Before any loading of positive fractions, full payment by the bidder shall be effected in favour of the Company. Without prejudice to the aforesaid, the Company may, at its sole discretion grant credit arrangements, to be determined by the Company. In case of negative fractions, a credit period of 120 days shall apply.
 
Closing date shall be Friday, 31st July, 2015 at 10.00 a.m. Purchase order forms are to be deposited in the Tender Box at the SAWTP Head Office, in a sealed envelope and addressed as “Sales of Recyclables”. Purchase offers are to be deposited in the Tender Box at Eko Centre, Triq Latmija, Marsaskala MSK 4613.

Expression of Interest (EOI) – Lists of External Experts in Domains Related to Innovation in Communications
 
The Malta Communications Authority (‘MCA’) is drawing lists of external experts to assist in carrying out a number of intelligence building activities related to innovation in communications.  Experts featuring in the lists will be notified by email when request for quotations related to their Domain of Competence are issued by the MCA. Experts interested in having their names included in one or more of the lists of experts are encouraged to respond to this EOI.
 
Experts with a professional background in ICT law, technology, business and public policy, with specialist competence in one of the specified domains of competence may apply.
 
To be considered for inclusion in one or more of the lists of external experts, an applicant must:
 
1. hold a university degree at Masters’ level or higher; and
 
2. have a high-level of expertise in one, or several domains of competence listed in this call.
 
Inclusion on the lists entails no obligation on the part of the MCA concerning award of a contract.
 
When the MCA necessitates external expertise in one of the identified domains of competence, the Authority will issue a request for quotations through the Government Gazette. The MCA will be directly notifying by email all experts featuring on the respective List of External Experts about such call.  The requests for quotations will not be restricted to experts featuring in the list.
