The Continental Shelf Department within the Ministry for Transport and Infrastructure in Malta has issued a Request for Proposals for a service concession for the acquisition, processing and reprocessing of seismic data on a non-exclusive basis offshore Malta and for assistance in a promotional round. The Request for Proposals was issued on Wednesday, 15th July, 2015.

Expression of Interest for the Provision of  Dental Check-Up Services to the Department of Health
 
The Department of Health is issuing an expression of interest from General Dental practitioners’ with a warrant to practise unsupervised to perform dental check up clinics. The private parties shall agree to carry out dental checkups within the dental department at Mater Dei Hospital with a minimum of 1 session per week of 5 hours duration. 
 
General Conditions:
 
1.  These sessions will be held during current departmental working hours, and will be under the direction of an assigned Consultant and would be ultimately accountable to the Chairperson, Department of Dental Surgery at Mater Dei Hospital.
 
2. The professionals performing these procedures are to be on the Dental Register of the Medical Council of Malta. 
 
3.  All the services that may be required by a Patient visiting the location for the purpose of having these procedures, including but are not limited to; dental assessment, investigations and preparation as may be required, patient referral services to include information and guidance about the procedure and advice on post operation care. The dental practitioner shall exercise in the performance of the Services, the standard of skill, care and diligence to be expected of a qualified dental practitioner, experienced in providing the Services set out above and shall be responsible for all the damages resulting from breach of such standard.
 
4. The agreement shall be for a definite period of twelve (12) months, unless the dental practitioner’s contract is terminated earlier by the employer, and may be extended for further periods of 12 months at the discretion of the employer.
 
5. Each applicant will go through a selection process.
 
6. The Department of Health will also agree to pay the private parties an agreed upon fee for each clinical session.  Payments shall be of €100 incl. any applicable VAT and Tax per 5 hour session and will be effected on a monthly basis, following endorsement of attendance by the clinical chairperson. Service shall be furnished at MDH utilising equipment provided therein.
 
7. Both dental practitioner and employer (without prejudice to and in addition to any other remedies available at law) shall be entitled to terminate this agreement by written notice to the other party, for whatever reason.

The Mtarfa Local Council notifies that:
 
Sealed quotations will be received in the tender box of the Council’s Administrative Office up to to noon of Monday, 3rd August, 2015, for:
 
Quot. No.  MTFLC/Q/04/2015. Supply and installation of composite bench at the entrance to the Woodland Project
Specifications may be collected from Local Council’s office between 8.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m.
 
The Council reserves the right to refuse all quotations,  even the most advantageous.  Late quotations will not be accepted.
