MALTA FILM COMMISSION

Film Production

Call for Quotations

As part of the European Social Fund Project ESF2.186 “Re-skilling of workers for the Local Film Industry”, the Malta Film Commission is issueing a call for quotations for the provision of various services and supplies including rental of equipment for the production and post-production of a feature film: “20,000 Reasons”. Shooting will take place from the 13th July, 2015 to the 14th August, 2015. This production is a result of a strategic partnership between the Malta Film Commission and Film London under the Film London Microwave International Malta scheme; a film training and professional mentorship programme aimed at the development and production of a feature film.

Cost/Benefit analysis

Following the guidance Manual for Cost Benefit Analysis (CBAs) Appraisal in Malta available from the website (https://eufunds.gov.mt).

The selected company will represent PBS at the Project Selection Meeting.

Qualitative Market Research, to identify:

The best tourist sites that can benefit and be enhanced from the material being digitized.

Different possible media for easy access to the material for both the local population and tourists visiting Malta

Eligibility Criteria on the basis of evidence of past work:

1. Involvement in previous IT and Tourism related EU Projects.
2. Understanding of the Tourism Market.
3. Past Experience in Marketing Research.

4. Past Experience in Compiling Cost/Benefit Analysis.
