Insurance Policy to Cover the Maltese Disciplined Forces
 
The well-being of the personnel engaged with one of the Maltese Disciplined Forces which are the Armed Forces of Malta, the Civil Protection Department, The Corradino Correctional Facilities, and the Malta Police Force are at the centre of the political and social agendas of this Ministry. To show in practice our commitment, this Ministry is requesting detailed information with regards to the creation of an Insurance Policy to terminate or mitigate risks which may be borne by the officers due to the dangerous nature of their duties.
 
This Ministry is hereby inviting submissions from persons/organisations in possession of all the necessary permits granted under the National Legislation and Regulations to conduct trade in the Insurance business to submit their proposal including the following information:

Extension of the Deadline for Project Proposal Submission under Call 1, Priority Axis 5
(OPI 2014-2020)
 
Following feedback received from the Competent Body, the Managing Authority will consider project proposals under Priority Axis 5 that involve State Aid provided that these fall under the relevant criteria1 of the General Block Exemptions Regulation (GBER).
 
In such instances, prospective Applicants are to take note that such project proposals are subject to clearance from the competent authority (State Aid Monitoring Body).
 
In view of this the Managing Authority is extending the deadline for the submission of projects under Priority Axis 5 ONLY as stated in the call of proposals for ERDF which shall now be Friday, 2nd October, 2015 at noon.
 
The deadline for the submission of project proposals under the other Priority Axes and Investment Priorities currently open shall remain till Friday, 11th September, 2015 at noon.
