FOUNDATION FOR EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

Call for Quotations − Provision of Insurance Services
Ref: FES/HO/2017/50

The Foundation for Educational Services (FES) is currently receiving quotations for the provision of insurance services.

1. Fire Insurance Policy

The FES is requesting a fire insurance cover for a period of three (3) years covering the sites listed in Annex 2. This shall cover permanent fixtures and fittings, walls, office furniture, air conditioning systems, fixed glass, and IT equipment. The policy shall also cover property in terms of documentation, computer systems, records and archives.

Limits: €100,000 per incident

2. Theft Insurance Policy

The FES is requesting a theft insurance cover for a period of three (3) years covering the sites listed in Annex 1. This shall cover permanent fixtures and fittings, office furniture, air conditioning systems and IT equipment. The policy shall also cover property in terms of documentation, computer systems, records and archives.

Limits: €50,000 per incident

3. Employers Liability

The FES is requesting an insurance policy for a period of three (3) years that covers the employers liability present in the sites listed in Annex 2.

Annual Payroll Cost: €5.12 million

4. Public Liability

The FES is requesting an insurance policy for a period of three (3) years that covers accidental injury of any employee or service user (children from 0 -16 years of age) present in the sites listed in Annex 2.

Limit: €2 million

5. Cash and Cash Equivalents Insurance Policy

The FES is requesting an insurance policy for a period of three (3) years that covers the accidental loss of money, theft, both cash and cheque with a maximum value of €25,000, whilst on premises (locked in a safe) in Malta (one location) or whilst being transported to and a bank in Malta.

A different quotation is to be provided for each separate item. Prices quoted are to be inclusive of VAT. The cheapest compliant quotation will be awarded contract.
