A rich user experience, throughout.
The change starts with a fresh look that, for the first time ever, gives eGovernment a brand of its own which we ha
ve started to apply across the main components of the portfolio. A common look and feel is what we want for our service portfolio so that you can navigate seamlessly through our websites, finding that the next step you need to do comes naturally to you: look for some information, be presented with connected information and services, pick a service for which you can apply online, make a payment maybe… and it’s all a smooth, flowing experience which you’ll love to return to, and recommend.

The main portal gov.mt
The
main portal itself is the starting point for you, whatever you want to look up or need to do. The main menu says it all:

starting with Government matters (e.g. Your Government Administration, Press Releases)

Services and Information from government departments and entities

a Life Events section – which presents information and links to services which you need at specific important stages of your life (e.g. Pregnancy and Birth, Looking for a Job)

introducing online Communities because we understand the value of promoting people sharing information and building upon the experiences of others

and finally About Malta – our own country made of our land, culture, people and the future which we help build for ourselves

Communities
The information you see at launch has all been put together by us. What we’re looking forward is to engage you: whether public sector employee or a member of the general public who feels can share something you know. Public service is about people working together to make the world a better place – traditionally the role of governments, but a role today beautifully shared with NGOs and also other groups of people.

You can contact us by email. Use social media to share whatever interenet resources with us: you can start by following the Malta eGovernment facebook page.

A to Z
All of Government’s forms are online. You’ll find an A-Z in the Services and Information menu. Many of them in PDF for you to download and use, and some of them as links to websites. The future is eForms and you’ll find that through time, more of the PDFs will be migrated to full transactional, interactive electronic forms. A click on the  sub-menu called Online Services  brings up a full list of eForms.

eForms
eForms is a massive leap forward in the transparency of the public services. Every form that has been migrated to eForms guarantees you with a quality of service that is superior to what you are normally used to: start filling in the form, save and carry on later, submit it and then monitor the processing on a workflow. The departments concerned will contact you through a central mailbox. Learn more here.
