Call for Part-time Nwar Tutors within the National Literacy Agency

 

Jobsplus Permit Number 652/2018

 

The National Literacy Agency is seeking to recruit part-time Nwar tutors.

Applicants must fulfil the following eligibility criteria by the closing date:

 

1. Recognised teaching degree at MQF Level 6 or equivalent or higher, OR a Diploma in Facilitating Inclusive Education at MQF Level 5, or equivalent or higher; AND

 

2. Successful completion of the Training Course in the Methodology of the Nwar Literacy Programme or Diploma in Literacy or DQSE Basic Skills Training Certificate, or equivalent or higher; AND

 

3. MQF Level 3 in Maltese and English [SEC (Grade 1 to 5) or GCE Ordinary Level (Grade A to C)], or equivalent or higher, AND

 

4. A minimum of 3 full years experience as a teacher or a Learning Support Educator.

 

Applicants who do not have the Training Course in the Methodology of the Nwar Literacy Programme or equivalent or higher will be considered only if they commit to follow the training course when this is organised.

Candidates should submit their letter of application, together with a summary of qualifications and experience in a European Curriculum Vitae Format, a copy of their relevant scanned certificates, a valid police conduct certificate and their Jobsplus employment history, by email to (maria.grech.16@ilearn.edu.mt) or by post to Ms Maria Grech, National Literacy Agency, NCC, Triq Joseph Abela Scolaro, Ħamrun HMR 1304, by not later than Friday, 21st May, 2021 at noon.

 

 

Applications by post should be sent by registered mail, allowing sufficient time to ensure delivery by the above deadline. Applications will be acknowledged in writing within seven days. Late applications will not be considered.
