AQA/Edexcel London May/June 2022 Examinations
The Director of Examinations notifies candidates that online applications will be accepted for the AQA/Edexcel London May/June 2022 Examinations from Monday, 17th January, 2022 till Wednesday, 26th January, 2022 (both dates included) by logging in on (www.myexams.gov.mt).
Access Arrangement applications will be accepted from Monday, 17th January, 2022 till Friday, 28th January, 2022, while any other changes/cancellations in applications will be accepted from Thursday, 27th January, 2022 till Friday, 28th January, 2022, by email to (raiza.mizzi@gov.mt).

Scholarships in the Czech Republic for 2022
(for Maltese Citizens only)
The Government of the Czech Republic is offering 3 Maltese students the possibility of a scholarship at the 2022 Summer Schools of Slavonic Studies organised by public institutions of higher education in the Czech Republic (Faculty of Philosophy of Charles University, Prague; Faculty of Philosophy of Palacky University, Olomouc; Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno). The courses are held during the summer months (July-September), and their length ranges from 3 to 4 weeks depending on the course content determined by each summer school and are designed for students, teachers, translators and interpreters and other experts active in the field of Czech/Slavonic studies. They are also open to those interested in the Czech language, literature, history and culture. These summer schools offer language courses at various levels of proficiency, seminars on the Czech literature, culture and history, free-time activities including theatrical, musical and dance performances, trips, etc.
A student must indicate the discipline in which he/she would like to pursue the studies and then Prague will assign them the most suitable university. The Scholarship consists or free board and lodging, full coverage of course fees and free access to cultural events which are part of the course programme. It does not however include travel to/from the Czech Republic and health insurance.

The required documentation for application includes:
1. The Czech Republic application form (downloadable from the Czech website (http://www.msmt.cz/eu-and-international-affairs/summer-schools-of-slavonic-studies))
2. Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs application form (downloadable from the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs website (https://foreignandeu.gov.mt/en/Pages/Scholarships.aspx)).
3. Curriculum Vitae
All applications and required documentation should be submitted online on (https://www.servizz.gov.mt/en/Pages/Education_-Science-and-Technology/Education-Services/Scholarships/WEB008/default.aspx) to the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs, Directorate for Consular and Maltese Living Abroad, Scholarships Section, by not later than Monday, 21st February, 2022.
Selected candidates must also submit a Testimonial to (https://foreignandeu.gov.mt/en/Government/CSO/Pages/Scholarships.aspx) related to the course awarded. The completed testimonial should reach the Scholarships Unit within 30 working days from the end of the course.
Late applications will not be considered.
The Board's decision will be final.
