The Permanent Secretary, Ministry for Finance and Employment is hereby notifying that the call for  the  post  of Senior  Manager  (Financial  Control) in  the Ministry  for Finance  and  Employment published in Government Gazette Number 20,881 of the 24th June, 2022 is being withdrawn by virtue of this notice.

Registration of New Agricultural Land and Aid Applications

 

The Agriculture and Rural Payments Agency (ARPA), within the Ministry for Agriculture, Fisheries, and Animal Rights (MAFA), shall be accepting applications from those farmers who wish to carry out:

 

Transfers and land registration for inclusion into land-based aid schemes;

 

Changes in land use.

 

For such requests farmers must present the following documents:

 

ID card;

Site plans of fields;

In case the person making the request is doing so on behalf of someone else, a power of attorney document provided by a notary is required, along with the ID of the representative;

Will (in case of transfer by inheritance).

 

Requests will be received between 18th July, 2022, and 16th September, 2022, in the following offices:

 

Malta: Front Office at Pitkali Markets, Ta' Qali, l/o Ħ'Attard

Gozo: Front Office, Government Experimental Farm, Xewkija

 

Days: Monday to Friday (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays)

 

Time: From 7.30 a.m. till noon

TRANSPORT MALTA

 

Notice to Owners of Vehicles Removed from the Road

 

 In accordance with the Clamping and Removal of Motor Vehicles and Encumbering Objects Regulations SL.65.13, Transport Malta is hereby publishing a list of vehicles that were removed from the road for being in breach of the Motor Vehicles Registration and Licensing Act (Cap. 368) and the Registration and Licensing of Motor Vehicles Regulations S.L. 368.02 and which have not been retrieved by their lawful owners.

 

The list includes a description of the removed motor vehicle. The vehicles are currently being stored at Transport Malta's compound.

 

Respective owners are to retrieve their motor vehicle from Transport Malta upon submission of proof of ownership and upon payment of the applicable registration tax, licences, contraventions and other administration fees that may be due.

 

Vehicles which are not retrieved and for which any applicable registration tax, licences, contraventions and other fees are not paid by the 7th of July, 2022, will be auctioned and, if not sold, will be destroyed.

Call 1 under the SME Digitalisation Grant Scheme Call 1 under the Digital Intensification Grant Scheme

 

Recovery and Resilience Plan for Malta

 

The Measures and Support Division, within the Ministry for the Economy, European Funds and Lands (MEFL), is the institution in charge of the implementation of investment C3-I4 'Rolling out measures to intensify the digitalisation of the private sector'. The management structure is established by Council Implementing Decision on the approval of the assessment of the Recovery and Resilience Plan for Malta 11941/21 and supporting Annex ADD 1, by Regulation (EU) 2021/241 and of the European Union Recovery Instrument set up by Council Regulation (EU) 2020/2094.

 

 

Under this investment, the SME Digitalisation Grant Scheme and the Digital Intensification Grant Scheme were launched on 28th June, 2022.

 

The Measures and Support Division would like to announce the following calls under the identified aid scheme, as follows:

 

Call 1 SME Digitalisation Grant Scheme

Call 1 Digital Intensification Grant Scheme

 

This call is being issued on 1 July 2022 and will close at noon on Friday, 30 September, 2022.

 

An in-person information Session will be held for prospective applicants in the Groundfloor Hall at The Oaks Business Centre, Block B, Farsons Street, Ħamrun, ĦMR1321 on Thursday, 14th July, 2022 at 10.00 a.m. Two online information sessions will be held on on Friday 15th and 22nd July 2022, at 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. respectively. Interested participants are requested to register online through (https://businessenhance.gov.mt).

ĦAL QORMI LOCAL COUNCIL

 

The Ħal Qormi Local Council notifies that:

 

On Sunday, 3rd July, 2022, no parking is allowed from Triq San San Bastjan corner with Triq il-Vitojra till Triq San Bastjan corner with Triq San Ġużepp (near the St Sebastian's church) from 7.00 a.m. till noon;

 

From Saturday, 9th July, 2022, till Monday, 18th July, 2022, no parking is allowed in Triq San Bastjan corner with Triq San Bartolomew till Triq l-Arkata and Vjal De La Cruz, Triq Fontanier, Pjazza Narbona and Pjazza tal-Granmastru, all day;

 

On Sunday, 10th July, 2022, from 7.00 a.m. till 5.00 p.m., no parking is allowed in Triq il-Kbira from Triq Correa till Triq Ġorġ Borg.

 

IN exercise of the powers conferred by the Trading Licences Act of 2001 and by the Subsidiary Legislation 441.04, the Ħal Qormi Local Council notifies that on Saturday 16th July, 2022, hawkers are not allowed to place stalls in the Ħal Qormi open-air market at Pjazza tal-Granmastru, Pjazza Narbona, Triq Fontanier and Vjal De La Cruz.

 

Parked cars will be towed.
