ELT COUNCIL

 

Expression of Interest for the Design and Delivery of ELT-related CPD Sessions

 

The ELT Council is launching this expression of interest intended to offer CPD sessions to ELT educators in the first quarter of 2022.

Interested persons are encouraged to submit their application form attaching CV course proposal, including one total fee (that includes preparation and delivery) by email to (info.eltcouncil@gov.mt). Applications are to be submitted by no later than Monday, 31st January, 2022.

 

Trainers must be in possession of the following:

 

An international diploma at post-graduate level at National Qualifications Framework Level 7 or a comparable or higher qualification in ELT from a recognised university or institution plus a minimum of 1,500 ELT contact hours spread over no less than twelve cumulative months; OR

 

A first degree in English or in English as a main subject at National Qualifications Framework Level 6 and an international certificate at National Qualifications Framework Level 5, or a comparable or higher qualification in ELT from a recognised university or institution plus a minimum of 2,000 ELT contact hours spread over no less than twelve cumulative months.

 

Sessions will be held online via Zoom in 2022. Session proposals must be for a 4-hour CPD session.

Call for Quotations – Provision of Legal Services

Ref: CFQ/FES/001/2022

 

The Foundation for Educational Services, within the Ministry for Education, is looking for legal practitioners to provide legal services particularly in connection with various administrative and employment and industrial relations matters.

 

Interested applicants are invited to submit their quotation for the provision of legal advice on various matters including, but not limited to the following:

 

Representing the FES in Court proceedings;

Requesting POMA documentation from Court;

Providing advice in relation to care and custody cases;

Providing advice in relation to data protection matters;

Providing advice in relation to employment and industrial relation matters;

Providing interpretation of legal documentation;

Writing legal letters;

Reviewing documentation from a legal perspective before making this public;

Any other advice related to the FES services as the need arises.

 

The proposal, drawn up in English, must be submitted by not later than Friday, 21st January, 2022.

 

Late submissions will not be considered.

Malta Further and Higher Education Authority

 

Request for Quotations for an External Auditor/Audit Services

 

The Malta Further and Higher Education Authority is seeking to appoint auditors for its MFHEA Budget 2021 and for the subsequent Budgets of 2022 and 2023.

 

Interested audit firms may send their quotations by email to (admin@mfhea.mt)  by not later than Friday, 14th January, 2022.

 

Interested parties are asked to submit the profile of the firm with the quotation submitted. Price quoted must be inclusive of VAT and if the price for the subsequent years is different than the audit price for the 2021 Audit this must be clearly stated.

 

The Malta Further and Higher Education Authority reserves the right that the auditors selected are selected for one year only however, it may choose to select the Auditor for the full three years.
