Appointment of New Member of the Council of the Counselling Profession
IT is hereby notified for general information that in exercise of the powers conferred by article 4 of the Counselling Profession Act (Cap. 538), and for the purpose of that Act, the Minister for Social Policy and Children's Rights has approved the appointment of Ms Nicolette Cachia as member of the Council of the Counselling Profession instead of Ms Marthese Vassallo.
This appointment shall remain valid until 2nd October, 2025.

MINISTRY FOR AGRICULTURE, FISHERIES AND ANIMAL RIGHTS
Registration and Movement of Equines
In exercise of the powers conferred by the Veterinary Services Act, (Cap.437), the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights, reminds all keepers and owners of equine animals to comply with the identification requirements outlined in the Methods for the Identification of Equidae Rules, Subsidiary Legislation 437.113.
Individuals who, on the 22nd April, 2025, have or had under their control or management or registered in their name equine animals and have not complied with these Regulations are encouraged to update their registrations. An amnesty period is hereby granted for those whose equines do not currently meet identification requirements, allowing them to regularise their registrations without facing penalties.
Amnesty Period: 22nd April, 2025 - 21st July, 2025
This applies to equine that:
Lack proper identification; or
Have not had their movement or death reported; or
Have incomplete or incorrect details in the Maltese National Livestock Database;
Do not meet the registration standards set by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/262;
Failure to comply within this amnesty period may lead to enforcement actions, including movement restrictions and penalties as outlined in the Methods for the Identification of Equidae Rules and the Veterinary Services Act.

AGENCY FOR INFRASTRUCTURE MALTA
Completion of Road Formation and Traffic and Parking Suspension
In virtue of Article eighteen (18) of Legal Notice 291 of 2018, the Agency for Infrastructure Malta hereby gives official notice of its intention to complete the formation of:
Part of Triq is-Sienja and Triq l-Istwiet, Ħ'Attard (indicated on site plan on page 5498).
Part of Triq tal-Linja and Triq il-Blanzuni, Ħ'Attard (indicated on site plan on page 5499).
Any person who is obliged by law to form said road (including by acquiring land necessary for the same formation) has fifteen (15) days from the date of the publication of this notice within which to comply with his obligations at law. In default, the Agency for Infrastructure Malta shall itself proceed with the formation of this road in accordance with its powers at law and at the expense of those persons whose obligation it is to form the road.
The Agency for Infrastructure Malta notifies that between 22nd April, 2025 and 30th August, 2025, it will be starting road works in part of Triq is-Sienja and Triq l-Istwiet, Ħ'Attard. Vehicular access and on-street parking in this road may be restricted during certain works. 'No parking' signs authorised by Transport Malta will be affixed on site before such parking restrictions come in force.
