Planning Board of the Planning Authority

IN exercise of the powers conferred by Article 63 (1) of the Development Planning Act, the Minister for Gozo and Planning has appointed the following person to serve on the Planning Board at the Planning Authority:

Amendment to Government Notice No. 237  –  16th February 2024 

With reference to Government Notice No. 237 published in the Government Gazette No.1617 of the 16th of February, 2024, it is being notified that Section 3. Beneficiaries is to be amended as follows for the scheme 'Promotion of Energy Audits in Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Scheme – Scheme A applications under Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2831 ‒ the De Minimis Regulation'. Paragraph text to be found in Section 3. Beneficiaries, shall be replaced by the following:

“3. Beneficiaries

The intended beneficiaries of the Promotion of Energy Audits in Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Scheme – Scheme A are single undertakings that are small or medium-sized enterprises as defined in Commission Recommendation of 6 May 2003 concerning the definition of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (2003/361/EC) that are eligible for State Aid under Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2831 of 13 December 2023 on the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to de minimis aid (the de minimis Regulation). The beneficiaries shall furthermore be enterprises with an average annual consumption lower than ten (10) TJ of energy over the previous three (3) years, taking all energy carriers together."

The intended beneficiaries of the Promotion of Energy Audits in Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Scheme – Scheme B are enterprises that are small and/or medium sized enterprises as defined in Annex I of Commission Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014, as amended. The beneficiaries shall furthermore be enterprises with an average annual consumption lower than ten (10) TJ of energy over the previous three (3) years, taking all energy carriers together."

IN terms of the proviso to article 9(2) of the Heraldry and Genealogy Regulations 2021 (L.N. 489 of 2021) (S.L. 445.07), the Chief Herald of Arms of Malta hereby notifies that the persons listed hereunder have applied for the provision/registration of heraldic arms from the Office of the Chief Herald of Arms of Malta.
