Earlier today, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Anġlu Farrugia, left Malta for Iceland, where he will be leading a parliamentary delegation on the invitation of the Speaker of the Icelandic Parliament (the Althingi).
The delegation of the Maltese Parliament is composed of Alison Zerafa Civelli, Darren Carabott, and Eleanor Scerri, Director International Relations.
As part of the official programme Speaker Farrugia and the delegation will be paying a courtesy call upon the President of Iceland, Gudni Th. Johannesson, and Speaker of the Althingi, Birgir Ármannsson.
