These specific terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with the general terms and conditions of website use available here.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

In order to be able to make use of the service, the following system requirements must be met:

  • Your internet browser must have Javascript and session cookies enabled
  • Adobe PDF Reader must be installed (available from here)

The site has been tested with the following web browsers:

  • Internet Explorer(version 8 & 9)
  • Firefox(version 6.0.1)

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION OF E-FORMS

The user may, at its own option and risk, submit e-Forms. The user agrees that the act of sending such a form electronically places the user under the same liabilities, responsibility and accountability as signing and delivering an equivalent paper form. On each such electronic submission, the user personally warrants to the relevant Government of Malta (hereinafter referred to as ‘GoM’) entity that they are authorised to incur any applicable statutory fees due to the GoM entity.

WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS

The provision of this service entails that the principal means of communication with the user will be primarily electronic. The relevant GoM entity will contact the user by electronic mail or the user may otherwise be informed through notifications on their personal account once logged onto the system. 

CONSEQUENCES OF FALSE DECLARATIONS OR INFORMATION TO A PUBLIC AUTHORITY

Any false declaration or statement, false information, misrepresentation, forged documents, or concealment of material fact submitted/provided through the e-form/s or any other document submitted/provided together with the e-form shall constitute a ground for criminal prosecution under Articles 188 and 189 of the Criminal Code (Chapter 9 of the Laws of Malta).

AVAILABILITY OF INFORMATION SUBMITTED

Data submitted in the e-Form shall be available online over the system for two (2) years from the date that transaction is concluded.
