Farrugia as Chairperson of the Broadcasting Authority for Malta for a period of two years with effect from 4th November, 2023.

 Building and Construction Consultative Council

WITH reference to Government Notice No. 1639 published in Government Gazette No. 21,157 of the 28th November, 2023, the national constituted body Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry should be changed to The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry, and the national constituted body Malta Developers Association should be changed to Malta Development Association.

Revenue Remissions Supervisory Board

It is notified for general information that in exercise of the powers conferred by Part III of the Commissioner for Tax and Customs Act, (Cap. 517), the Minister for Finance and Employment has appointed Ms Marisa Hewer as Member of the Revenue Remissions Supervisory Board in lieu of Mr Manfred Barbara. This appointment is valid for a period of three years with effect from 1st January, 2024.

(Not. Pub.)., MA, LLD, as chairperson on the Board of Appeal. This appointment is valid for three years with effect from the 23rd November, 2023.

ORDER OF THE MINISTER FOR JUSTICE

In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 113 of the Civil Code (Cap. 16), the Minister for Justice has made this Order whereby the Adoption Order dated 11th October, 1972, issued by Norwich County Court, United Kingdom, is being specified as an adoption of the person therein mentioned for the purposes of Articles 113, 130 and 130A of the Civil Code.

ACQUISITION OF LAND

PROCLAMATION by the LANDS AUTHORITY

Whereas by the provisions of section 71 in accordance with the Government Lands Act (Cap. 573) of the Laws of Malta, the Board of Governors of the Lands Authority can for public purposes, declare that the land is subject to clearance and subsoil rights.

And whereas it is required that the property mentioned in this schedule is declared subject to subsoil rights.

Now, therefore, I, by means of the powers of section 71 of the mentioned Act, hereby declare that the property mentioned in this schedule is subject to subsoil rights.

Schedule

Land in Xagħjra, Malta:

1. The mentioned subsoil rights consisting in the digging of a horizontal access of about 3039.19 metres long, with a width of 60 metres and a variable depth of 5 metres and laying of services for an indefinite period, which land is bounded on the north, on the east and on the south by unknown owners or more precise boundaries.

2. The mentioned subsoil rights consisting in the digging of a trench of about 502 metres long, with a width of 5 metres and a variable depth and laying of services for an indefinite period, in a plot of land measuring about 58,266 metres square, which land is bounded on the north, on the east and on the south by unknown owners or more precise boundaries.

The abovementioned two plots of land are shown with the colours red and light blue on plan P.D. 2023_669 which may be viewed on demand at the Lands Authority, Auberge de Baviere, Valletta.
