Immigration Act (Cap. 217)
Delegation of Powers
In exercise of the powers vested in him by sub-article (1) of article 26 of the Immigration Act (Cap. 217), the Minister for Home Affairs, Security and Employment hereby authorises the Residency Malta Agency to exercise on his behalf the powers conferred on the Minister for Home Affairs, Security and Employment by means of sub-article (1) of article 7A of the said Act, in relation to the provisions of regulation 2 of the Malta Residence Visa Programme Regulations (Subsidiary Legislation 217.18) and regulation 3 of the Malta Permanent Residence Programme Regulations (Subsidiary Legislation 217.26).

Regulator for Energy and Water Services
A grant on the Purchase of Water Purifying Equipment
In order to reduce the use of plastic containers utilised for bottling water, the Regulator for Energy and Water Services is administering this grant on the purchase of equipment to purify water at home by reverse osmosis, reverse osmosis system with reject water return and water filtration system.
1. Grant payable under this scheme
Applicants may apply for a grant under this scheme by means of an online form from the Regulator for Energy and Water Services website (www.rews.org.mt) or by means of the form downloadable from the same website. The scheme is administered and governed in terms of the guidelines also downloadable from the website.
2. Duration of the scheme
Applications for this call may be validly received as from the 15th of April, 2024 until the end of 2024. The scheme may be modified or terminated before that date by means of a notice in the Gazette. This scheme may be renewed as may be deemed necessary by the Regulator for Energy and Water Services also by means of a notice in the Gazette.
3. Amendments to the scheme
The Regulator for Energy and Water Services shall at all times have the right to make any amendments to this scheme by means of a notice published in the Gazette containing such amendments.
SCHEDULE
Water Guard: Water filtration system. Grant Percentage and maximum: 40% on the purchase price and installation of Water Filtration System equipment subject to a maximum grant of €100.
RO Wave: Reverse Osmosis System. Grant Percentage and maximum: 15.25% on the purchase price and installation of Reverse Osmosis equipment subject to a maximum grant of €100.
RO Recycle: Reverse Osmosis System with reject water return. Grant Percentage and maximum: 40% on the purchase price and installation of Reverse Osmosis with reject water return subject to a maximum grant of €300.

Completion of Road Formation and Traffic and Parking Suspension
In virtue of Article eighteen (18) of Legal Notice 291 of 2018, the Agency for Infrastructure Malta hereby gives official notice of its intention to complete the formation of:
Triq il-Lanċa, Valletta (indicated on site plan on page 4089).
Triq il-Miratur, Vittoriosa (indicated on site plan on page 4090).
Triq il-Kunvent and Triq il-Bettina, Vittoriosa (indicated on site plan on page 4091).
Triq il-Kurunell Mas, Ħal Tarxien (indicated on site plan on page 4092).
Any person who is obliged by law to form said road (including by acquiring land necessary for the same formation) has fifteen (15) days from the date of the publication of this notice within which to comply with his obligations at law. In default, the Agency for Infrastructure Malta shall itself proceed with the formation of this road in accordance with its powers at law and at the expense of those persons whose obligation it is to form the road.
The Agency for Infrastructure Malta notifies that between 22nd April, 2024 and 31st December, 2024, it will be starting road works in Triq il-Lanċa, Valletta. Vehicular access and on-street parking in this road may be restricted during certain works. 'No parking' signs authorised by Transport Malta will be affixed on site before such parking restrictions come in force.

Vehicular access and on-street parking in this road may be restricted during certain works. 'No parking' signs authorised by Transport Malta will be affixed on site before such parking restrictions come in force.
The Agency for Infrastructure Malta notifies that between 19th April, 2024 and 29th November, 2024, it will be starting road works in Triq il-Kunvent and Triq il-Bettina, Vittoriosa.
