Maltese History on Stamp
The Minister for Competitiveness and Communications, the Hon Censu Galea inaugurates the exhibition 'Maltese History on Stamp'.
The exhibition is organised by Heritage Malta in collaboration with Maltapost plc and in conjunction with the EU Accession Celebrations Organising Committee.
The exhibition will feature original drawings designed for the historical Stamp Definitive of 1964 by Emvin Cremona. Where possible, original artifacts depicted on the stamps or artifacts that represent particular historical periods shown on the stamps, taken from the national collection will be displayed with the drawings.

Roots of the Maltese Nationhood
H. E. The President inaugurates the exhibition, ‘Roots of the Maltese Nationhood’.
The exhibition features a number of artifacts highlighting ten main sectors that form the bases of the Maltese Nationhood, with each sector presented by a local expert in the field.
The exhibition is organised by Heritage Malta, the Libraries and Archives Department and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in conjunction with the EU Accession Celebrations Committee.
The event will also feature the launching of a publication "Roots of the Maltese Nationhood".

Organ Concert with Chorale Improvisation
The renowned organ player and choir leader of St Peter and St Paul's Church in Dieburg, Germany Herr Werner Utmelleki gives an organ recital of German "Gotteslob" Catholic hymns used throughout Germany with diocesan variations. The concert is being held at St John's Co-Cathedral.
During the evening well-known chorale themes will initially be listened to after which they will be interpreted with improvisation. Such improvisation is Herr Werner Utmelleki's strength.
Herr Werner Utmelleki who was born in September 1962, currently leads and has founded numerous choirs. He has led many organ concerts, choir and orchestra works. During the years he has taken numerous classes in the subjects of organ, orchestra, and choir leading in many areas of Germany.
During the period of Malta EU Accession Celebrations a group of parishioners from Dieburg will be visiting Malta and on May 1, 2004 they will be hearing Mass at the Mosta Parish Church at 19.00 hrs. Moreover, on May 2, 2004 they will also participate in Holy Mass at St Barbara Church, Republic Street, Valletta at 10.00 hrs.
The Organ Concert with Chorale Improvisation will be held at 19.30 hrs at St John's Co-Cathedral, Valletta and is open to the public.
Herr Werner Utmelleki will give a repeat performance at St Paul's Anglican Cathedral, Valletta on Thursday, April 29. The performance is open to the public.
