​The Constitutional Reform Committee met for the first time under the chairmanship of President of Malta George Vella on 22nd May 2019 at San Anton Palace, in order to continue with discussions on the constitutional reform. President Vella thanked the members for their contribution, and expressed his hopes of having further constructive dialogue. The Committee discussed the way forward and the methods by which a wider popular participation in this process can be achieved. All stakeholders agreed that meetings will proceed on a regular basis.
