In accordance with the Food Safety Act and Regulation (EC) No. 178 of 2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council, the Environmental Health Directorate within the Superintendence of Public Health wishes to inform the public that the following information received through the involved operator, the following product must not be consumed in view of potential contamination with Norovirus.
Norovirus cause gastrointestinal illness to humans. Norovirus infection can cause vomiting, diarrhoea, and stomach pain. Less common symptoms are low fever, chills, and headache. Vomiting can be sudden and frequent resulting in remarkable fluid loss.
