In accordance with Chapter 649 of the Food Safety and Security Act, and in line with the Authority's role to ensure transparency and public awareness on matters relating to food safety and security, the Authority hereby informs the public of the following information received through the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF). The product must not be used because of migration of volatile organic compounds.

Volatile organic compounds are emitted as gases from chemicals which are used in the manufacture of every-day household products such as paint, glue, etc. and that can be dangerous to health especially when exposed for long-term.
