In accordance with Chapter 649 of the Food Safety and Security Authority Act, and in line with the Authority's role to ensure transparency and public awareness on matters relating to food safety and security, the Authority hereby informs the public that following information received through the Rapid Alert for Food and Feed (RASFF).
According to Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008, the product in question should not be consumed because it was found to contain the additive maltitol (E965), which is not permitted in products containing less than 25% cocoa.
