In accordance with Chapter 649 of the Food Safety and Security Authority Act, and in line with the Authority's role to ensure transparency and public awareness on matters relating to food safety and security, the Authority hereby informs the public of the following information received through the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF), the mentioned food contact material must not be used in view of the possibility of migration of Primary Aromatic Amines during use.
Primary Aromatic Amines are chemical substances which can migrate from food contact materials into food. These substances can pose a risk to health.
Only products purchased between March 2025 and May 2026 are implicated.
