This draft National Transport Masterplan 2030 sets out Malta’s long-term vision for a more efficient, sustainable, and people-centred transport system. Building on the achievements of the 2025 Plan, it provides a strategic framework to guide investment and policy decisions across all modes of transport — land, sea, and air — while promoting cleaner mobility, improved safety, and better connectivity. The Masterplan aligns with European objectives under the Green Deal and Fit for 55 package, supporting Malta’s transition to a low-carbon future. Through this public consultation, the Ministry for Transport, Infrastructure and Public Works invites citizens, stakeholders, and organisations to share their views and help shape the future of transport in Malta.
