IT is hereby notified for general information that, in exercise of the powers vested in him by sub-article (2) of article 4 of the Arbitration Act (Cap. 387), the President of Malta acting on the advice of the Prime Minister, appointed Dr Anna Mallia as Deputy Chairperson and Dr Paula Cauchi and Dr Desiree Cassar as members. These appointments are valid for six years with effect from 28th April, 2023.

Application of the Proviso to Article 3(2)(b) of the Small Business Act (Exemption) Order
IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 18(1) of the Small Business Act (Cap. 512) the Minister for the Economy, European Funds and Lands has made the following order:
The Production of Cannabis for Medicinal and Research Purposes (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations, 2023 is hereby exempt from the application of article 3(2)(b) of the Small Business Act for the reason that the measures established in the mentioned legislation are urgently required to promote transparency, to assist licence holders in their operations and to enhance sustainability of the local cannabis industry.

Completion of Road Formation and Traffic and Parking Suspension
In virtue of Article eighteen (18) of Legal Notice 291 of 2018, the Agency for Infrastructure Malta hereby gives official notice of its intention to complete the formation of:
Triq San Filippu, Birgu (indicated on site plan on page 4657).
Triq Anġlu Mangion, Triq Ġanni Faurè and Triq Karlu Maratta, Ħal Tarxien (indicated on site plan on page 4658).
Triq Mons. G. Depiro, Rabat (indicated on site plan on page 4659).
Any person who is obliged by law to form said road [including by acquiring land necessary for the same formation] has fifteen (15) days from the date of the publication of this notice within which to comply with his obligations at law. In default, the Agency for Infrastructure Malta shall itself proceed with the formation of this road in accordance with its powers at law and at the expense of those persons whose obligation it is to form the road.
The Agency for Infrastructure Malta notifies that between 2nd May, 2023 and 31st December, 2023, it will be starting road works in Triq San Filippu, Birgu. Vehicular access and on-street parking in this road may be restricted during certain works. 'No parking' signs authorised by Transport Malta will be affixed on site before such parking restrictions come in force.
The Agency for Infrastructure Malta notifies that between 2nd May, 2023 and 31st December, 2023, it will be starting road works in Triq Anġlu Mangion, Triq Ġanni Faurè and Triq Karlu Maratta, Ħal Tarxien. Vehicular access and on-street parking in this road may be restricted during certain works. 'No parking' signs authorised by Transport Malta will be affixed on site before such parking restrictions come in force.
